The Three Floors Hobby Shop has been in operation for over sixty years and continues to be family owned. Housed in a Heritage building that is over 100 years old the shop is located in the waterfront area of New Westminster

The door is open, come on in:
Our street entrance leads to the Radio Control Airplane kits and wooden ship kits.  The main interest of this floor however is Model Railroading with every corner overflowing with the hobby.  Model railroading is still considered to be the World's Greatest Hobby.  Also to be found here are toys from Wilesco (steam engines), Pinecar (cub cars) and Ninco (slot cars). Scratchbuilding supplies such as Evergreen Styrene, K&S Metal, balsawood and basswood are in abundance.  Scalextric and AFX slot cars and accessories reside here also.

Up the stairs to the Arts & Crafts area leads to Dollhouses and accessories, Artist's supplies (paints, brushes, papers, pastels), modeling clay, beading supplies and more.  Also on hand are many die-cast model cars from 1/64 scale to 1/18 scale.  Our basement is home for all manner of plastic models such as cars, tanks, airplanes, military figures, trucks and ships.  Continue on to discover a large selection of Flying Model Rocket kits and accessories from Estes and many puzzles to choose from.  You will also find on each level montly magazines and specialty books on every aspect of the hobby world.

Gallery: Check out our Gallery Page where we have posted photos of Scale Models built by some of our customers.  The fighter planes and SAM missle were built by Gary Jackson.  These built-ups are on display on our plastic model floor. The Circle-Track cars/dioramas were built by John (Doc Dirt) Borkowski. (note: these digital photos are fairly high-resolution and may be slow opening)

For your enjoyment we have posted a number of photos of locomotives and rolling stock to our web page.  These photos represent the types we see locally.  Please note that the pictures are provided by our resident train expert Jim (Doctor Diesel) Wessel and are copyrighted.
